Close your eyes and imagine a brand. What brand is it? Why do you think you thought of that brand? Is it a popular brand, or only one you’re familiar with? This thought train of why you think of a brand is extremely intriguing, how does our brain associate colors and designs to determine what brand we think of immediately. As we sat down with Drew Reilley of Slash Creative, we were able to take a deep dive this week into what all goes into his process of developing a brand and making sure the business is telling the story it wants to tell. Initially as we think of branding, maybe thoughts such as marketing, advertising or even promoting comes to mind. However, Drew, would say that none of those things fully encapsulate just what makes each and every company unique. While some enjoy a good Times New Roman font for their logo, others like to be extremely creative and unique with their design. At Slash Creative, Drew Reilley and his team focus on asking questions with each new client they meet with to really get down to their “why” ever before they draw an image or type a mantra. This is just the tip of the iceberg for what we covered in this episode, we hope you enjoy!
